Happy New Year's!

2019 fresh start goals gods plan love new beginning new years resolutions

Happy New Year's, Soul Sisters!

There is just something about January 1 that lays out a foundation for fresh beginnings, reflection, and adventure! At some point today, try to sit down and reflect on what God has done in your life. He is SO faithful and there is so much to be grateful for!

Back to Goal Setting >>> I love to set goals, and I wanted to share some of mine with y'all.

At the top of the list is:

1. Being a better wife & mom - when Aaron and I discussed our goals, we know that our marriage has to be a top priority. We agreed to doing a date night every other weekend because its so important to have that alone time to reconnect (date nights do not always happen - but listening to one another on our dreams, wants, needs, is something we try to practice in the evenings once Cash is in bed). For me, being a better mom means getting off of my mobile devices! With mini computers at our fingertips, I am practicing now to "uplug" at certain times to spend time with family. And when it is "Cash" time, it's all his. I plug my phone up in an entirely separate room and focus my attention on my son and doing what he wants to do. Whether that is play outside, go to the park, read a book, or watch Paw Patrol together!

2. Read More! I am a bookworm when I have time and I vowed this year to read a book or two a month. I figured that if I had time to watch reality television, that I can be feeding my heart and mind with God's truth and business educational books. Knowledge is power and I know that it will help me in so many aspects in the long run. Y'all may have to check in with me this winter to make sure I am not binging Netflix! haha! *If anyone is interested in book recommendations, let me know!*

3. Build a WAREHOUSE - this is a huge dream and something that has been on my heart the past year, in many prayers, and I know that in God's time; we will have a permanent "home" for Soul Revival. My vision is to have an entire shipping warehouse and eventually a unique, one of a kind shopping destination for all of you to come shop! If you have ever been to a show that we are set up at - you can betcha that our warehouse will be just as bright, vibrant, and rustic glam as Loretta is!

These are just a few of my top ones and I would love to hear what your's are! Also, don't be so rigid with your goals that you cant change or re-evaluate them into something to fit your pace! Leave room for God to work and do only what he can do.

Cheers to a Happy & Healthy 2019!

"See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Isaiah 43:19
